KRKA NATIONAL PARK

The Krka River is due to the great natural, scientific and cultural value, declared a national park in 1985, which is annually visited by more than 700,000 tourists. In the course of the long 72 km Krka has seven travertine waterfalls of which the most famous are Skradinski buk, 45.7 meters high with 17 steps and Roski, a height of 25.5 meters. Archaeological excavations discovered the remains of pottery, flint blades and bones back to the Palaeolithic. The jewel of the national park is the island of Visovac on which a Franciscan monastery, a valuable cultural and historical monument. Other important religious monument, the Orthodox monastery of St. Archangel. It keeps valuable book, icons, manuscripts and liturgical.

KORNATI NATIONAL PARK

National Park Kornati is a unique island group in the Mediterranean with 89 islands and rocks and total surface of 302 km2. Landscapes and panoramas are specific to boaters and many visitors park. The wild beauty of rocks, clear blue sea, hidden coves, unusual contrasts of nature, especially the world of silence, are a unique experience.

CITY OF SIBENIK

The oldest Croatian town on the Adriatic coast with a unique location in a picturesque bay at the mouth of the river Krka. The center of Sibenik - Knin - Sibenik has around 55,000 inhabitants. In the old part of the house are made of stone and closely built and the streets are narrow and winding with lots of steps and vaults. This is a city with the most steps in the world. Small squares and numerous cultural and historical monuments testify the rich history. In Sibenik's magnificent cathedral. Jacob, a unique monument of European sacral architecture, and recently on the UNESCO list of World Heritage Sites. Numerous restaurants and daily cultural and entertainment facilities, including the International Children's Festival, Evenings of Dalmatian Chanson and Medieval Fair complement the rich offer.

THE TOWN OF SKRADIN

This town is located on the right bank of the river Krka .. Skradin is the entrance to the Krka National Park, ACI marina with 220 berths. Skradin is an attractive tourist destination, the city of traditional meetings of Dalmatian folk songs, festivities and bowlers Carnival celebrations, and certainly the culinary delights that provide restaurants and taverns with Dalmatian prosciutto, bread baked, fresh fish and seafood, barbecue and excellent wines. Local marina is one of the most beautiful and most visited on the Croatian coast.
